Influenced by a variety of music too vast to be covered in one simple paragraph, Sadaharu seamlessly couples elements of jazz, blues, and rock and roll with a non-traditional hardcore approach. With infectious energy and technical guitar riffing, the songs do everything short of simply demanding that one lose themselves and dance. It has not been an uncommon occurrence for people to draw comparisons to iconic bands such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and King Crimson, in the same breath that the draw comparisons to punk rock visionaries like Fugazi, Nation of Ulysses, and Refused. The band's latest effort, entitled "Anthem For New Sonic Warfare" has ganered much acclaim in magazines such as Alternative Press, Punk Planet, Skratch, AMP, Mean Street, and more. Alternative Press says "Amazing punk/hardcore/jazz rockers... the dissonance of Drive Like Jehu mixed with Refused's energy and the (International) Noise Conspiracy's groove." Lyrically exploring the theme that music has become cookie-cutter and bland, "Anthem drives from the start, full of guitar hooks and urgent vocals. The band dares the listener to “not be content and to “demand of no one but ourselves to focus our energy in new and creative ways, ending in the bold proclamation “This is the new sound - rejoice!
